A conveyor belt is inclined at 30° with the horizontal.
A body of mass M= 1 kg is kept on the conveyor as
shown in the figure. The friction force between the
body and the conveyor belt depends upon the relative
speed of the body with respect to belt as f= 0.4 v
N. The belt moves at a constant speed ve up the
conveyor while initially the body has a speed of
2ms' relative to the ground in a direction down the
conveyor. Take g=10 ms 2.
