1. find cost of wheat 12×1500=18000
then find cost of rice = 2050×8=16400
we will denote cost of rice by a negative sign because it is loss as per question
then to find profit or loss = 18000+(-16400)
=18000-16400
= the profit of ₹1600
2. let the number of wheat bags sold = X
profit= loss
X × 12= 2400×8
X × 12= 19200
X = 19200÷12
X = 1600

1. The cost of wheat = 1500 × 12
= 18000
The cost of rice = 2050 × 8
= 16400
profit or loss = 18000 + (-16400)
the profit of = 16400
