Step-by-step explanation:

let side of square =a

then the base of triangle =a

area of square

 {a}^{2}

area of triangle =

 \frac{1}{2}  \times base \:  \times height

puting these both formula eqaul and put values ,we get

height = 2a .

now ratio

 \frac{height}{base}

 \frac{2a}{a }  = 2

your answer is (a) 2:1

(B)

let the dignol be A

now its sqaure =

 {a}^{2}  \:  = (64 + l)

a sq - l = 64

or

 {a}^{2}  - 64 < 8

it is given

 {a}^{2}  -  {8 }^{2}  < 8 \\ (a + 8)(a - 8) < 8
