for drawing the quadrilateral,

•draw the base 5.5 cm

•take 6 cm in compass and draw an arc at the top of the triangle

• take 7 cm in compass and draw another arc such that it intersects the 6 cm

• Extend the line frm A toD , where the point of intersection is there

• Extend line from B to D also to that intersection point

• draw ∆ BCD also drawing intersection point

for drawing the triangle of same area

• draw a parallel line to BD at point C

• Extend B straight to the parallel line and call that point E

• Extend D to E

then ∆ of same area of the quadrilateral will get
