find the value of x + Y and x minus y if 15x-17y=21, 17x-15y=21

Equation 1: 15x + 17y = 21

Equation 2: 17x + 15y =11

Add equation 1 and 2

15x+17y+17x+15y=21+11

32x+32y=32

Take 32 as common

32(x+y)=3232(x+y)=32

x+y=1

Hence the value of x+y = 1
