Step-by-step explanation:

let A(X1 , Y1)=(0,4)

B(X2,Y2)=(0,2)

C(X3,Y3)=(3,0)

area of triangle=1/2| X1(Y2-Y3)+X2(Y3-Y1)+ X3(Y1-Y2)|sq.units

=1/2|0(2-0)+0(0-4)+3(4-2)|

=1/2|0+0+6|

=1/2(6)

= 3 sq.units
