by Pythagoras theorem

(13)^2=(12)^+(5)^2

169=144+25

144=144

LHS =RHS

hence proved that it is right angle triangle

area of right traingle is 1/2base X height

1/2X60

=30

by using formula 2(area of ∆)/longest side

2X30/13

60/13

=4.61
