The cost of fencing the square field = Rs 480

Rate of Fencing = 12/m

We , Fence a field along it's sides.

So we must get the perimeter of the square field.

Perimeter of the field can be obtained by Dividing The total rate of fencing by Rate per m.

\implies Perimeter =  \dfrac{480}{12}

∴ Perimeter = 40m.

Since the field is in the shape of a square,

Perimeter = 4×a (a is the side)

Here,

4×a = 40

∴ a = 40/4 = 10m.

Since Sides area Equal the Length of Each sides is 10m.

That is , AB = AD = DC = BC = 10m.
