for coverging lens the formula is :

f = (μ-1)(R1-R2)

where, f is focal length, μ is refractive index, R1 and R2 are radius of curvature. to solve this question we have to put the given things in the formula

24 = (1.5-1)(R1-R2)

now here, one of the R is having double value of the another one so

let's take R2 = 2× R1

so now solving it,

24 = (0.5)(2R1-R1)

24/0.5 = R1

R1 = 48 cm ( cm - because values are given in that form)
