SOLUTION :

GIVEN :
A = {4,6,8,10} & B = {3,4,5,6,7}
f : A → B
f(x) = 1/2x +1

i) ARROW DIAGRAM IS IN THE ATTACHMENT
f : A → B defined as f(x) = 1/2x +1 (given)
f(4) = ½ ×4 + 1 = 2+1 = 3
f(4) = 3

f(6) = ½ ×6 + 1 = 3+1 = 4
f(6) = 4

f(8) = ½ ×8 + 1 = 4+1 = 5
f(8) = 5

f(10) = ½ ×10 + 1 = 5+1 = 6
f(10) = 6

ii)
A set of ordered pairs :
{(4,3), (6,4),(8,5), (10,6)}
