3x+4y=10......(1) [Elimination method]

2x-2y=2......(2)

(1)*2》6x+8y=20

(2)*3》6x-6y=6

by subtracting

14y=14

y=1

substitute in (1)

3x+4(1)=10

3x+4=10

3x=6

x=2

Therefore x=2 and y=1
