(a) Find the acceleration of the train during the first 40 seconds.​

Answer:

Acceleration is given by : v-u /t

where

v = final velocity

u= Initial velocity and t is time

a) Ij the first 40 sec

U = 0 m/s

V =12 m/s

T = 40 sec

hence ACCELERATION

a= v-u/t

= 12 -0 / 40

= 12 /40

= 3/10 m/s^2

hence acceleration for first 40 sec is 3/10( 0.3) m/s^2
