14. There are two plots, one in a rectangular shape and another in square shape. Both the plots have same
area. If a side of square plot is 2 m 10 cm and the length of rectangular plot is 12 m 60 cm, then find the:
a)breadth of the rectangular plot
b)perimeter of the rectangular plot​

Perimeter of square =4×side

=4×64

=256cm

Perimeter of Rectangle = Perimeter of square

⇒2×(length+breadth)=256

⇒2×(80+breadth)=256

⇒breadth=48cm

Area of square =side×side

=64×64

=4096cm

Area of rectangle = =l×b

=80×48

=3840cm

2

Area of Square is greater than Area of Rectangle.
