Food available is good for
= 1440 men * 32 days * 1 food ratio unit
= 1440 * 32 man-days
Now ratio will be increased for less number of persons.
same food is good for N men * 40 days * 1.50 food ration
= 60 N man days
So 60 N = 1440 * 32
N = 768
So number of persons who may leave the camp
= 1440 - 768 = 672
= 1440 men * 32 days * 1 food ratio unit
= 1440 * 32 man-days
Now ratio will be increased for less number of persons.
same food is good for N men * 40 days * 1.50 food ration

So 60 N = 1440 * 32
N = 768
So number of persons who may leave the camp
= 1440 - 768 = 672
