⟹</p><p> \frac{15 - 28x}{4}  = 9

⟹</p><p>15 - 28x = 36

⟹</p><p> - 28x = 36 - 15

⟹</p><p> - 28x = 21

⟹</p><p>x =  -  \frac{21}{28} =-3/4

OR

⟹</p><p> \frac{15}{4 - 7x}  = 9

⟹</p><p>15 = 9(4 - 7x)

⟹</p><p>15 = 36 - 63x

⟹</p><p>15 - 36 =  - 63x

⟹</p><p> - 21 =  - 63x

⟹</p><p>x =  \frac{21}{63}  =  \frac{3}{9}  =  \frac{1}{3}
