To find:-

Solution:-

•The initial velocity of the stone in this case will be 0,as it was initially at rest.

•In order to get a perfect answer,in this case,we shall take the value of g(acceleration due to gravity) as 10m/.

Now,by using the 2nd equation of motion,we get:-

=>h=ut+1/2gt²

=>h=0×4+1/2×10×(4)²

=>h=5×16

=>h=80m

Thus,height of the tower is 80m and hence,correct option is (C).
