Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

  • Every 100 g of brown bread contains 6 gram of fibre
  • Weight of a loaf of bread is 800 g and has 20 slices

To find,

  • How much fibre is there in one slice?

Solution,

100 g of bread= 6g of fibre

800 g of bread= (6×800)/100 gram of fibre

= 6×8 gram of fibre

= 48 gram of fibre

Now,

20 slices of bread contains = 48 gram of fibre ( i.e 800 gram of bread)

1 slice of bread will contain= 48/20

= 2.4

Hence, 1 slice of fibre contain 2.4 gram of fibre
