In one day 15 men build wall of length=16.25m
....... ...............1 men ...............................=16.25/15
=1625/1500=65/60=13/12
in one day 65/60 m length of wall build by = 1 men
in one day 26m length of wall build by = 1*(12/13)*26=24 mens

Question:

15 men can build a 16.25 m long wall upto a certain height in one day. How many men should be employed to build a wall of the same height but of length 26 metres in one day?

Solution:

Number of men who can build a 16.5m long wall in 1 day = 15

1 man can build wall in 1 day = \dfrac{16.5}{15}m

Let the number of men who can build a 26 m long wall in 1 day = x

Number of man who can build wall in 26 days

 = x \times \dfrac{16.5}{15} = 26

x = 24

Therefore, 24 Men should be employed.
