abishekauvindu: Dear, your recommendation is not acceptable for the question as 15 is not given as an option. Too it is 5 amps more recommended by the electricians for a fuse to be in minimum. So the most reliable answer is 30 amps.

Answer:

The answer is 30 amps fuse.

Explanation:

This is easy to understand and most will go with 10amps. But this question specially mentions that it is his house circuit. So most probably he will have a few more applications working in it. And too, it is a standard of electricians ho recommend at least 5 amps more in the fuse than in the application. 30 amps fuse is the most reliable answer as a 5 amps fuse will be useless for a current of 10 amperes. It will be burnt out as you turn the power on. 10 amps fuse is not reliable as the current drawn by the air conditioner is 10amperes, so it will too be burnt after a few seconds of powering on. 50 amps fuse is too much for this 10 amperes current and might increase resistance and heat. This might end up in burning or drawning more current.
