The number of people is inversely proportional to the number of days needed.

⇒ the more people we have, the fewer days we need.

⇒ the fewer people we have, the more days we need.

15 people  = 7 days (Given)

Find the number of days needed for 1 people to complete the work:

15 people  = 7 days

1 person = 7 x 15 = 105 days

Find the number of days needed for 10 people to complete the work:

1 person = 105 days

10 people = 105 ÷ 10 = 10.5 days

Answer: 10 people will need 10.5 days to complete the work.

The quantity of individuals is contrarily relative to the quantity of days required.

⇒ the more individuals we have, the less days we require.

⇒ The less individuals we have, the more days we require. 15 individuals = 7 days (Given) Find the quantity of days required for 1 individuals to finish the work: 15 individuals = 7 days 1 individual = 7 x 15 = 105 days.

Find the quantity of days required for 10 individuals to finish the work: 1 individual = 105 days 10 individuals = 105 ÷ 10 = 10.5 days.
