Newton's law of cooling states that the rate of heat loss of a body is directly proportional to the difference in the temperatures between the body and its surroundings.

So, if in 10 minutes the difference of temperatures between 10°C and 5°C is 5°C.

Then the time taken to make a difference in temperature from 5°C to 2.5°C will be also 10 minutes. (option 3)
