The Journey across the desert

“The Journey across the desert” talks about the girl whose name is Robyn. She wanted to across the central desert to the western coast of Australia that has 2,800km in distance. Before she started her journey, she had spent many months for preparation. Robyn’s hometown is Adelaide. At first, she left her hometown for Alice Spring with her dog by train. When she arrived at Alice Springs she left only six dollars in her pocket. She wanted to walk across the central desert of Australia from Alice Springs to the west coast, with the help of camels. She hoped to find some wild camel in Alice Springs and train them to carry her supplies on that long journey. But she didn’t have enough money to buy the camels, so she decided to find a job here to earn money to buy camels. At first, she tried to find work in a pub. Luckily, the owner of the pub give her a work, place for her to live and all meals are included. She also said “Robyn can start her work for the next two day”. Robyn thought, if she only works in the pub, she would not get enough money to buy the camels. She decided to find another job and also kept the job in the pub. The job that she wanted to try was a job that related to the camels because she wanted to know much about camels. It would easy for her when she face many problems when she across the desert. The next day she started her search. After searching, she found 3 camel farms. At first, she tried to find work at the first farm but the owner of the first farm didn’t interesting in helping her. Then, she tried to find work at the second farm but the owner of the second farm also said no because Robyn didn’t know much about camels and desert. Robyn felt very hopeless because she thought she could not find work in camel farms. She would not know much about camels and she would have to spend long time to buy camels. The only place left to try was the last farm. It was owned by a man. He was an Australia, about forty-five .
