x=3y.

now formula for perimeter is 2(x+y)

put x =3y

and

2(4y) = 32

so y = 4m

x = 7m

and length = 3x

perimeter = 32m

area of rectangle = 2(L+B)

32m = 2( 3x +x)

32m = 8x

32/ 8 = x

x = 4m

width = 4 *3 = 12m
