Answer:

The value of theta is 30.

Explanation:

When an object moves as a projectile the maximum distance it covers is no is the range of projectile. \mathrm{R}=\frac{V^{2} \sin \theta}{G} is the formula to determine the range.

here are given two angles one being the double of father but the range  of projectile is same applying this in the formula:-

\mathrm{R}=\frac{V^{2} \sin \theta}{G}

When the angle is double that is 2ө

\mathrm{R}=\frac{v^{\mathrm{a}} \sin 2 \theta}{G}

Equating both since range

\begin{array}{l}{\frac{V^{2} \sin 2 \theta}{G}=\frac{V^{2} \sin \theta}{G}} \\ {\frac{V^{2} 2 \sin \theta \cos \theta}{G}=\frac{V^{2} \sin \theta}{G}}\end{array}

  • 2sinӨ = 1
  • sinӨ = ½
  • Ө=30
  • 2Ө =60
