Answer:

15x-15+4x+12 = 14 + 2x

19x+3 = 14 +2x

19x-2x = 14-3

17x = 11

x = 11/17 ans.

Question :

 \tt15 (x - 1)  \: +  \: 4 (x + 3)  \: =  \: 2 (7 + x)

 \:

Solution :

By transposing method,

\displaystyle  \tt\implies 15 (x - 1)  \: +  \: 4 (x + 3)  \: =  \: 2 (7 + x)

\displaystyle  \tt\implies 15x - 15 \: +  \: 4x + 12 \: =  \: 14 + 2x

\displaystyle  \tt\implies 15x  +  4x   \:  - 15 + 12\: =  \: 14 + 2x

\displaystyle  \tt\implies 19x   \:  -3\: =  \: 14 + 2x

\displaystyle  \tt\implies 19x  - 2x  \: =  \: 14  + 3

\displaystyle  \tt\implies 17x\: =  \: 17

\displaystyle  \tt\implies x\: =    \cancel{\frac{17}{17} } \: 1

\displaystyle  \tt\implies   \underline{\boxed{ \tt \red{\large x\: =  1}}}

 \:

Verification :

x = 1

So,

Substitute 1 in the place of x

\displaystyle  \tt\implies 15 ((1) - 1)  \: +  \: 4 ((1) + 3)  \: =  \: 2 (7 + (1))

\displaystyle  \tt\implies 15 - 15  \: +  \: 4  + 12 \: =  \: 14 + 2

\displaystyle  \tt\implies 16=  \: 16

LHS = RHS

Hence verified !!
