15(x+1)+4(x+3)=2(7+x)
15x+15+4x+12=14+2x
15x+4x-2x+15+12-14=0
17x+13=0
x=-13/17

 \textbf{Solution :}
___________

15(x + 1) + 4(x + 3) = 2(7 + x)

=> 15x + 15 + 4x + 12 = 14 + 2x

=> 19x + 27 = 14 + 2x

=> 19x - 2x = 14 - 27

=> 17x = - 13

=> x = -13/17

 \textbf{Note :} While transposing a number from one side to another, the sign gets changed.

i.e.

( + ) becomes ( - )

( - ) becomes ( + )

( × ) becomes ( ÷ )

( ÷ ) becomes ( × )
