As Kp=pO₂=0.5

Here,

P denotes pressure

V denotes volume

n denotes number of moles of gas

R denotes gas constant

T denotes temperature

So putting all in the equation:

V=5 L

 n = \frac{P\times V}{R\times T}

 n = \frac{0.5\times 5}{0.082\times 1067}

= 0.0285 mol of CO₂

as BaO,  2x=0.0285\times 2 =0.057 moles

As,  Number of moles of BaO calculated=\frac{Mass of BaO given}{Molar mass of BaO}

 0.057=\frac{Mass of BaO given}{153}

 Mass of BaO formed= 0.057 \times 153=8.73 g
