               x - y = 8

                x = y + 8    ----- (3)


Substitute (3) in (1), we get

15y + 120 - 14y = 117

y + 120 = -117

y = -3.     ------- (4).


Substitute (4) in (3), we get

x = -3 + 8

x = 5.


The values are x = 5, y = -3.
