Step-by-step explanation:

16 x 8^2 = 2^m

on our right hand side there is 2 in the base so we have to make 2 as a base on our left hand side

2^4 x 8^2 = 2^m

2^4 x (2^3)^2 = 2^m

2^4 x 2^6 = 2 ^m ( powers will get multiplied)

we know that if base is same powers get added. So here, base is same that is two and powers are 4 and 6

therefore, 2^4+6= 2^m

              = 2^10 = 2^m

Now, we know that if bases are equal powers will also be equal. Here base is on both side and it is equal . Therefore power will also equal.

so, 10 = m
