A satellite revolves around the earth in a circular path with a constant speed. Its direction of
motion at any point is along the tangent to the circle at that point. In non-uniform motion, the
velocity of an object changes with time. It has different velocities at different intervals of time
and at different points of its path. Based on above lines answer the following questions.
(a) What is the type of motion of a satellite?
(1 Point)
O Uniform circular motion
Non uniform circular motion
O rectilinear motion
O oscillatory motion

(b) Name the physical quantity which is defined in above paragraph. (Refer Q-19)
