Answer is  \frac {2}{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

  • In order to solve the question easily, we should opt for the method called BODMAS (Brackets of Division, Multiplication, Addition & Subtraction).
  • BODMAS stands for the process of solving the question, wherein the which bracket and which function is to be opted first or given priority.

That means, the sequence of solving should be followed as under, from High to low priority.

  • ()- round is opened first or solved firstly, {}- curly then this and []-square in the end
  • (D) Division comes the first priority, then after division, (M) multiplication is opted, then comes (A) or Addition and it ends finally with (S) or Subtraction.

Here,

16 divide 4 of 2-2[2-{2-2(2-2-2)}] can be solved by following the above sequence-

16÷4 \times 2-2[2-{2-2(2-2-2)}]

= 16÷4 \times 2-2[2-{2-2(2-4)}]

= 16÷4 \times 2-2[2-{2-2(-2)}]

= 16÷4 \times 2-2[2-{2+4)}]

= 16÷4 \times 2-2[2-6]

= 16÷4 \times 2-2[-4]

= 16÷4 \times 2+8

= 16÷4 \times 10

= 16÷40

or \frac {16}{40}

= \frac {4}{10}

= \frac {2}{5}
