charge on the atom for 1 cube=q/8E•

in the cube this charge is attached to three faces

show the area vector of that side and the electric field vector will be perpendicular

hence the flux through the three sides will be zero

equal amount of flux will flow from the other three sides

show the flux flowing from one side will be equal to q/8E•/3

=q/E•24

total number of faces=6

the flux q/E• placed at the centre is shared between the six faces

flux 1 face=q/6E•

total flux=q/6E•+q/24E•=5q/24E•
