Answer:

3fe+4h2o forms fe304 + 4h2 so on passing the steam over iron ,3 moles of iron will give 4 moles of hydrogen gas.

atomic weight of iron =55.85

so (3×55.85) grams of fe will give = 8 g of h2

21 g of fe will give = 21×8 /167.55

=1.0027 g h2

so on passing steam over 21g of iron will liberate ,1.0027 g of hydrogen gas
