1. The length of a rectangular ground is 6 m more than its width and the perimeter of
ground is 76 m. Find its length and width.​

Let common of length and breadth be x

length = 6 + x (given)

width = x

P =2 (l + w)

76 = 2 ( 6 + x + x)

76/2 = 6 + 2x

38 - 6 = 2x

32/2 = x

16 = x

Now putting the values,

length = 6 + x

            = 6 + 16

           =  22

width= x

              = 16
