The Thief is young boy of 15. He is intelligent for his age. He knew the art of winning the confidence of other. He is a good judge of human nature.
He says that greedy man showed fear when he is robbed, a rich man show anger and the poor men show acceptance calmly. the thief steals Anil’s money but he soon began to repent.His conscience stopped him.
He felt can't rob a person who was so trustful he came back he want to learn that how to read and write as it will earn hundreds and respect. He wants to become a big man we can say that he is a noble hearted thief.
