Answer:

(a) PLANE MIRROR:-

They are used in periscopes, for signalling, in kaleidoscopes, to see round dangerous bends, in meters, as mirror tiles, in a sextant, in an overhead projector, an SLR camera, car wing mirrors, in microscopes and as reflecting number plates to mention only some!

(b) CONCAVE MIRROR:-

Concave mirrors are used in reflecting telescopes. They are also used to provide a magnified image of the face for applying make-up or shaving. ... Some dental mirrors use a concave surface to provide a magnified image.

(c) CONVEX MIRROR:-

Convex mirrors always form images that are upright, virtual, and smaller than the actual object. They are commonly used as rear and side view mirrors in cars and as security mirrors in public buildings because they allow you to see a wider view than flat or concave mirrors.

(d) CONVEX LENS:-

It is used as Magnifying Glass.

It is used to Make Microscope.

It is used in spectacles to correct the vision. It cures defects called hypermetropia (far sightedness) where patients can't see objects closer to them.

(e) CONCAVE LENS:-

The concave lens is used to treat the problem of nearsightedness or myopia by diverging the light ray and making the clear image of the object on the retina. Lasers: Small concave lenses are used to widen the laser beam which occupies more area and makes the laser beam producing equipment work properly.
