Given Rational Number 17/125
Denominator ( q ) = 125 = 5³
is of the form 2^n × 5^m .
Here ,
n = 0 , m = 3
Therefore ,
17/125 is a terminating decimal.
17/125 = ( 17 × 2³ )/( 2³ × 5³ )
= ( 17 × 8 )/(10³)
= 136/1000
= 0.136
