SOLUTION:-

Given

•One zero of the polynomial is 1

Answer

value of k = -2

To find

value of k

Explanation

p(x)= x²+x+k

g(x)= x-1=0

= x=1

Putting x=1 in p(x)

p(x)= x²+x+k=0

= 1²+1+k=0

= 1+1+k=0

= 2+k=0

= k= -2

Hence, the value of k is -2

So, Option b is correct
