s = ut + 1/2 at^2

Where ,

s is the distance in meters.

u is initial velocity, 20 m/s.

t is time, 5 seconds.

a is acceleration, 3 m/s^2.

s = ut + 1/2 at^2

s = 20 m/s (5 sec) + (1/2) (3 m/s^2) (5 sec)^2

s =100 m + (1.5 m/s^2) (25 s^2)

s = 100 m + 37.5 m

s = 137.5 meters
