Hi friend,

All outcomes are 1,2,3,4.........,17

Number of all possible outcomes = 17

(1) Let E be the event that the number on the drawn card is an odd number.

The favourable outcomes are 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17

Number of all favorable outcomes = 9

P(getting an odd number ) = Favourable outcomes/ Possible outcomes = 9/17

Total numbers divisible by 3 = 3 , 6 , 9 , 12 , 15

Probability of an event =

  \large \boxed{\frac{no.of \: favourable\:outcomes}{total \: no. \: of \: possible \: outcomes} }

 \implies \: \huge  \frac{5}{17}  = 0.29

hence , probability of that number on the card which is divisible by 3 is 0.29
