Radiation from sun constantly fall on the surface of our planet .

• Some amount is absorbed and some gets reflected back

• But Carbon dioxide absorbs more CO2 hence results in heating and rise in temperature.

• That explains the Contribution of CO2 in Global warming increase.

Answer : Increase concentration of carbon dioxide in the air is believed to cause global warming. CO2 has the ability to trap heat from sun. As it traps heat and stores it in the atmosphere only, the temperature of the atmosphere increases and leads to global warming.
