Answer:

let the smaller 1 be x

then the larger 1 will be x+18

since it is a supplementary angle therefore

x+x+18=180

2x=162

x=81

so the smaller 1 is 81

and the larger 1 is (81+18)= 99

Case1

x +y =180 eqn-1(sum of supplementary angles)

CASE2

x-y=18 eqn-2

now by substitution

from eqn 1:x+y=180 =>x=180-y

put x=180-y in eqn 2

180-y-y=18

=-2y=18-180

y=172/2

y=86

put y=86 in eqn: x+86=180=>x=180-86=94
