Perimeter of a rectangle = 25.5 m

Length = 9.5 m

First we have to find breadth

Perimeter = 2(l + b)

25.5 = 2(9.5 + b)

25.5 = 19 + 2b

2b = 25.5 - 19

2b = 6.5 m

b = 6.5/2

b = 3.25 m

Area of rectangle = l × b

Area of rectangle = 9.5 × 3.25

Area of rectangle = 30.875 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Perimeter of rectangle= 25.5m

Length= 9.5m

width= ?

Let the width be x

Perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)

25.5= 2(9.5+x)

25.5= 19+2x

x= 25.5-19/2

x= 6.5/2

x= 65/20

x= 3.25m

so, width is 3.25m

Area of rectangle= l×b

= 9.5m× 3.25m

= 30.875 m²
