Let the rational between ages of three persons 10 years ago was x

Ten years ago, their ages were in the ratio of 7:8:9.

Thus their ages were 7x, 8x and 9x

Their present ages 7x + 10, 8x + 10 and 9x + 10

The sum of the ages of 3 persons is 150 years. Accordingly

7x + 10 + 8x + 10 + 9x + 10 = 150

24x + 30 = 150

24x = 150 - 30

24x = 120

x = 120/24

x = 5

The rational is 5. Their ages 10 years ago,

1st person 7x = 7 × 5 = 35 years

2nd person 8x = 8 × 5 = 40 years

3rd person 9x = 9 × 5 = 45 years

Their present ages

1st person = 35 years + 10 years = 45 years

2nd person = 40 years + 10 years = 50 years

3rd person = 45 years + 10 years = 55 ,hears

Answer:

45,50,55

Step-by-step explanation:

150-30= 120

120/ (7+8+9)

120/24 =5

(5*7 + 10) + (5*8+10) +(5*9+10) = 150

45+50+55= 150
