170(x-y)=130+(y-x)
170x - 170y = 130 + y - x
170x + x = 130 + 170y + y
171x = 130 + 171y .......(1)
From (1)
171x = 130 + 171y
Dividing both sides with 171
x = (130 + 171y)/171
x = 130/171 + 171y/171
x = 130/171 + y
x = 0.76 + y ...(2)
From (2)...
x = 130/171 + y
x - 130/171 = y
x - 0.76 = y .....(3)
Proof:-
Substitute (3) in (1)
171x = 130 + 171y
171x = 130 + 171(x - 0.76)
171x = 130 + 171x - 130
171x - 171x = 130 - 130
0 = 0
(Approximation Used)
The values of x and y are
x = 0.76 + y , y = x - 0.76
170x - 170y = 130 + y - x
170x + x = 130 + 170y + y
171x = 130 + 171y .......(1)
From (1)
171x = 130 + 171y
Dividing both sides with 171
x = (130 + 171y)/171
x = 130/171 + 171y/171
x = 130/171 + y
x = 0.76 + y ...(2)
From (2)...
x = 130/171 + y
x - 130/171 = y
x - 0.76 = y .....(3)
Proof:-
Substitute (3) in (1)
171x = 130 + 171y
171x = 130 + 171(x - 0.76)
171x = 130 + 171x - 130
171x - 171x = 130 - 130
0 = 0
(Approximation Used)
The values of x and y are
x = 0.76 + y , y = x - 0.76
