Answer:Pressure is given by:

P = hρg

where h is the height or depth of the liquid

ρ is the density of the liquid

g = acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 m/s^2

= 980 cm/s^2

h = 1.5 m

ρ = 1000 kg/m^3

P = 1.5 × 1000 × 9.8

P = 14700 pa

pressue = force/area

thrust = force = pressure × area

= 14700 × 100 × 10^−4

= 147 N
