according to quest. a+2=-2 so a=-4 hope you know the formula of finding zeroes

x^2 +4x +2a

a is zero

a^2 + 4a +2a = 0

a^2 +6a = 0

a( a+6) = 0

a= 0,-6

for a= 0, x^2 + 4x it not satisfies 2 as zero

so only a= -6
