18 is divisible by 2 and 3 both as 2 and 3 are coprime, 18 is also divisible by (2×3)=6

but is 6 and 4 are not coprimes so therefore an number must not be divisible by (6×4)=24

EXAMPLES

  • 12 is divisible by 4
  • 12 is divisible by 6
  • but 12 is not divisible by 6 multiply 4 is equal to 24
