According to subsidiary alliance treaty, these policies will be followed:-

1 The king cannot employ independent troops

2 The British troops would be in state of kings for protection against kings of other state

3 The kings have to pay the British troops.

4 If they failed to pay British troops,a part of his territory was occupied

5. a resident was employed in court of kings for interfering in the matters of political and social affairs

6. kings have to consult residents in every decision

7The states which were occupied by this treaty were Mysore ,Awadh and many more.
