you can also write it as

19^12 x 19^8/19^4 = 19^?, so there is a division taking place here (the bold part, we will clear that first and then move on)

we know that when you divide, we subtract the powers so in this can 8-4=4, so we can write it as

19^12 x 19^4 = 19^?

Now we know that when we multiply, we add the powers so 12 + 4 = 16, sow e write it as
